"The Peasant's Wise Daughter" at the Brothers-Grimm-Festival Kassel

This summer, for the first time in 4 years, the Brothers-Grimm-Festival shows a fairy tale musical on the lake stage in Park Schönfeld in Kassel from 3rd of August until 3rd of September: "The Peasant's Wise Daughter" with live band and music by Sting, the Beatles, the Electric Light Orchestra and others. Harald plays the role of peasant Karl, Johanna's father.
Peasant Karl (Harald Tauber) finds a golden mortar while fishing and honestly brings it to the castle, where he is unjustly thrown in prison. Prince Heinrich (Benjamin Hauschild) poses a riddle to Karl's daughter Johanna (Steffi Regner) in order to obtain her father's release and then to marry her. But Hauke Henning (Adrian Kroneberger), the prince's cousin, wants to prevent the wedding with all his might and is planning an intrigue ...

"20 years of tic - anniversary show"

170 annual performances, 34 self-written pieces so far - and that for already 20 years! Since then, the Theater im Centrum has made a name for itself not only in Kassel and the surrounding area. In May 2023, the tic celebrates a big anniversary. Reason enough to whoop it up! On two weekends from 12 to 21 May, there will be a colourful programme with live music, the best songs and anecdotes from the last 20 years and many well-known artists.
Harald played roles in "Little Shop Of Horrors" (2011), "Rock the Block" (2016), "Campingfieber" (2018) and "Babykracher" (2020) at the tic and also his own play "Himmlisch gerockt!" ( 2015) premiered there. Of course, he will also be part of the anniversary show in May. Happy birthday, tic!

"Jingle Bell Rock" - the second

Just in time for the 1st Advent, the tic - theater im centrum Kassel rings the bells again and presents the christmas show "Jingle Bell Rock" once more. "Der Stadtbrand" ("The Town Fire") in Biedenkopf

This year, Harald will be involved in a production of the Schlossfestspiele Biedenkopf near Marburg/Hessen for the first time. On the palace tent's schedule "Auf der Bleiche" is the world premiere of the musical "Der Stadtbrand" ("The Town Fire") by Paul Graham Brown based on motives of Christoph Kaiser's play "Dreimal ein Phönix" ("Three times a phoenix, German translation: Moritz Staemmler). The fire in 1717 was a decisive event in the town history of Biedenkopf. Harald will play one of the leading roles, the Jewish money lender Anschel Eichenbaum. The plot: Despite all poverty, young Anna from Biedenkopf absolutely wants to scrape a dowry in order to be able to marry her beloved Otto from Battenberg. His parents are far from enthusiastic about the relationship. The wedding bells should also ring for Miriam, the daughter of the Jewish money lender Anschel Eichenbaum from Breidenbach, when it comes to her father and the rabbi. Because the small community should grow - feelings are rather secondary. But Miriam has other plans.
Every family has a secret that can be well hidden in Biedenkopf's dark and narrow streets. But the rumour mill is bubbling, rivalries and resentments are the order of the day. A chance encounter has drastic consequences - and suddenly Biedenkopf is on fire. The flames cannot be extinguished for eight days, houses and entire streets disappear. Nobody can hide anymore, and old secrets come to light ...

Elvis is back! „Babykracher - Sing! Swing! Schwanger!“

At the tic - theater im centrum in Kassel, Harald will play the music producer Pep Strotzkowski in the new musical comedy "Babykracher" from 18|10|2019 on.
Ella (Tanja Krauth), Billy (Annabelle Mierzwa) and Dinah (Jessica Krüger) are the "Ladysisters". The gifted Motown trio has recently recorded the first album with hit producer Pep Strotzkowski (Harald Tauber/Michael Fajgel) and is about to make a breakthrough. Unfortunately, Ella got pregnant at a hanky-panky with manager Anton (David Wehle/Andreas Schneider) and now fears for her place in the band.
And indeed: When the Sisters are booked for a big gig in the Helene Fischer show and Pep learns about Ella's condition, she's about to be replaced. This is not tolerated by her friends Billy and Dinah who claim to be pregnant as well. Pep Strotzkowski then scents an ingenious marketing concept: The Babysisters!
The turbulent round of small and big lies, real and false baby bellies, secret feelings and crazy hormones is opened. And as Peps marketing ideas get more and more absurd, Ella has to decide how far she wants to go for her dreams ...

According to the calendar, this weekend is the beginning of autumn, but the tic in Kassel revives the summer in October and again shows the music comedy "Campingfieber" with the cult hits of the 60s until the end of the year.
Of course, Harald is back with the party as Junior, son of the mattress trader Oswald Schlummermann from Bettenhausen. With so much summer mood and musical evergreens, the visit to the theatre is almost like a short holiday!

"Fire magic on the cannel" in Berching

On 21/22 July 2017, the water rescue service Berching in the Bavarian Upper Palatinate invites to the event Fire magic on the cannel. Visitors are to expect an extensive programme of music and culinary delights in the city centre, fishing ponds, paddle boating and torch swimming along the Berching promenade.

One of the highlights is the impressive baroque and high fireworks on the Main-Danube-Canal on Saturday, 22nd at 10:45 pm, which will be opened by Harald and his duet partner Stefanie Polster. Admission is free.

"Campingfieber" - musical with the cult hits of the 60s

After "Rock the Block", Harald will also be part of the next self-production of the tic in Kassel from 24 March 2017 on: "Campingfieber", the musical with the cult hits of the 60s.
Erwin (Michael Fajgel) and Helga Schlowanz (Tanja Krauth) have been spending their leisure time as regular campers at an idyllic place in Büchenwerra. Just like Erwin's employer Oswald Schlummermann (Claudius Freyer), owner of the "Schlummerland" bed storage company. Thanks to good contacts to the placekeeper, Erwin finally got hold of the plot next to Schlummermann and hopes for a better outlook on the management of the new store in Bettenhausen.
But instead of the mattress king, crazy Junior (Harald Tauber) and his girlfriend (Annabelle Mierzwa) move into the caravan and cross all the plans. When surprisingly Erwin's competitor Titus Hinteregger (Christoph Steinau) emerges, the chaos at the campsite is perfect.
A turbulent musical with quirky characters, whimsical gags and well-known hits from the 60s.

"Rock The Block - The Elvis-Musical"

Rock'n'Roll is back! From 20 October 2016 on, Harald returns to the tic - theater im centrum in Kassel to take over the role of Martino Brando in the second season of "Rock The Block - The Elvis-Musical".
To raise the number of spectators for "Jailhouse Rock", the theatre director hires his old childhood friend Martino Brando who has become a B-celebrity known with soap operas, for the role of "Clark". "Ludwig²" at the Festival Theatre Fuessen

In 2005, the musical "Ludwig²" about the life of the Bavarian King Ludwig II (1845-1886) successfully premiered in Fuessen. This summer, it returns to its original location! „Himmlisch gerockt!“ - Harald's first own production

Just in time for the new year, there is exciting news to announce: In January, Harald makes his debut as a playwright! At the same time he will be in the play as actor and musician on stage.
Three men are meeting in heaven ... No, this is not a joke, but the beginning of a crazy rock-comedy. „Himmlisch gerockt!“ combines funny exchanges of words with the greatest hits of rock history and self-penned songs of the band „Mates in Rock“. The plot is vaguely based on Jean-Paul Sartre's play „No Exit“ and the search for the Holy Grail of Arthurian legend. „Himmlisch gerockt!“ - a theatre evening with live music, not to be taken too seriously.

„Sister Act“ at Apollo Theater Stuttgart

From 9 December 2012 on, Harald can be seen after a long time in another long-run production: "Sister Act" at the Apollo Theater Stuttgart, presented by Stage Entertainment and Whoopi Goldberg, who played the main role in the 1992 movie.
It tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a nightclub singer who accidentally witnesses a murder and has to hide from the gangsters of all things in a monastery. As head of the nuns' choir, she finds a new job and gets back the lost sheep community with her groovy God shows.
In addition to his ensemble role Willard, Harald is understudy for Monsignore O'Hara, principal of the convent's Mother Superior and dignified priest with authority, but also a sense of humour. A heavenly musical pleasure!

"Rapunzel - a hair-raising musical" at the
Brothers Grimm Festival in Kassel

The royal family of Trott zu Hottensolz is broke. The only hope is to find a rich prince for their daughter Harmine. She is beautiful, but spoiled and dimwitted. Prince Harold, Duke of Hartford, and his squire Hartwig Hartlepool introduce themselves at the castle in order to court her. But the royal couple passes Hansine, the pretty daughter of the rapunzel farmer, off as their own offspring. Mrs von Haarenscheid, Harmina's nanny, however, kidnaps Hansine and hides her in a secret dungeon in the castle. Shortly after, Hansine's bloodstained dress is found in the woods. A happy ending seems very far away - or is it? Harald lends the Duke of Hartford his support as squire Hartwig Hartlepool in "Rapunzel - a hair-raising musical".

"King Kong" at the KATiELLi Theater in Datteln

The struggle between man and ape, prehistoric and modern times, love and hope, beauty and monstrosity, the seemingly secure and the unexpected, that's what James Edward Lyons and Paul Graham Brown's musical "King Kong" after the adventure novel by Delos W. Lovelace from 1933 is about.

Obsessed with the desire of conquest, the adventurer Carl Denham travels to the ends of the earth. He pulls the unsuccessful actress Ann Darrow and the cynical dropout Jack Driscoll under his spell. The prehistoric ape Kong forces the three intruders to confront themselves with their own nature. He becomes the catalyst of their fears and aggressions, but also of their hopes and possibilities. The trip will be an emotional odyssey through the valley of human abysses.

After its premiere in 2009 at the Kleines Theater am Südwestkorso in Berlin, the three-person musical is now shown at the KATiELLi Theater in Datteln in February 2012 with Harald in the role of the charismatic, but also somewhat rough sailor Jack Driscoll.
